Abstract

Long-term retention of endo-uterine debris after abortion is a rare occurrence. Uterine vacuity is a prerequisite for cessation of bleeding and avoidance of post-abortion endo-metritis. We report a case of retention of endo-uterine bone debris in the 5th month post abortion of a twin pregnancy to raise the issue of diagnosis and management in a setting where hysteroscopy is not available.
